Girls

• At Grady, the Lady Bronchos had three players with 17 points and handed Clovis Christian a 74-37 defeat in District 4-1A.

Senior guard Skylar Starbuck, junior guard Mandy Rush and senior post Molly Rush all had 17 points for the Lady Bronchos (12-8, 4-0 district).

Grady opened a 20-9 lead after one quarter and had the Lady Eagles at least doubled at each quarter stop.

Senior guard Julia Roberts had three 3-pointers and 14 points for CCS (4-15, 2-3), while senior guard Jocelyn Swann added 11 points.

• Elida used a 30-point output by junior guard Reavis Best and 24-point fourth quarter to put away Floyd 62-52 in a District 3-1A matchup at Floyd.

The Lady Tigers (13-7, 2-2) led 38-35 going into the final period. Junior Margarita Ortiz added 16 points for Elida, while junior Tori Tucker had 17 points and seniors Bree Lancaster and Veronica Mendoza notched 10 points apiece for the Lady Broncos (14-5, 2-1).

Boys

n The Grady Bronchos came into District 4-1A play winless, but they improved to 3-0 in the district with a 48-44 win over Clovis Christian at Grady.

Senior guard Dalton Thomas had four 3-pointers and 21 points for the Bronchos (3-16 overall), while senior Bobby Lee added 11 points. With the score tied 27-27, Grady outscored CCS 13-9 in what turned out to be a decision third period.

The Eagles (3-18, 1-3) were led by senior Cordy Wilhoit with 10.

n At Floyd, the host Broncos held Elida to 13 first-half points and rolled to a 71-37 win over the Tigers behind 30 points from senior forward Chet Chenault.

Junior forward Justin Rogers added 14 points for Floyd (13-5, 2-2), while senior post Kody Paiz had 14 points and junior guard Alex Varela added 10 for the Tigers (6-11, 0-4).
