Players selected for North-South hoops teams

The New Mexico High School Coaches Association honored 17 area players with roster spots in this summer’s North-South All-Star basketball games.
Another six players were selected as alternates for the games, which honors outgoing seniors.
Jaye Crockett and Arthur Calbert will represent Clovis in the 4A/5A boys game May 31 in Albuquerque, and Brittany Johnson will represent the Wildcats in the July 30 contest at Gallup High School.
Portales representatives for the July 10 games at New Mexico Highlands University include Nick Bliss, Billy Good, Walker Partin, Tara Johnson and Dallas Russell.
There will be six games, divided into Classes 1-2A, Class 3A and Classes 4-5A, played at various dates in Albuquerque, Gallup and Las Vegas, N.M.
The all-star games are listed below, with scheduled times. All players are on the South All-Stars rosters, unless otherwise noted:
